Who we are
PortKeep is a MindFrag product, published by Metabinary Ltd ("we", "our", "us"). Metabinary Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described here.
What we collect
This site collects one thing on purpose: waitlist sign-ups. That is:
- Your email address.
- An optional note, if you write one in the form.
- The time of sign-up and your IP address, stored with the sign-up to limit abuse of the form.
There are no accounts, no payments and no other forms. We also count page views and waitlist sign-up events, as described under cookies and analytics.
Why we use it
We store your email address and the IP address it was submitted from to tell you when PortKeep is ready to run, and to send product updates after launch. It is not shared. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to delete your entry at any time (see contact below).
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We run Umami, a cookie-free analytics service, on our own server. It records page views (the page address, referrer, browser, operating system, device type and country, which is derived from your IP address without storing it) and a count of completed waitlist sign-ups. It never records the email address you type. There is nothing to opt into, which is why there is no cookie banner. There are no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site.
Where it lives
Waitlist entries are kept in a database on our own server, not in a third-party marketing platform or email service.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, or object to processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us. You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example theData Protection Commission in Ireland.
